The Volusia League of Cities named Rick Boehm of Ormond Beach as the 2007
Citizen of the Year in recognition of his service to improve the quality of life within our
community, especially for the future of our children.

Many of the hours dedicated, he served as Chairperson of the Ormond Beach Youth
Basketball Association from 2003 to 2006 in addition to coaching for over 10 years.
OBYBA is a parent-run organization that provides a quality basketball program for the
youth of City of Ormond Beach.
